Traditional Services
Traditional funeral services with a time of visitation is the most common way most families select to honor their loved ones. There are are various components that most traditional funerals have in common (the visitation and funeral service), but it is not uncommon to have these services coordinated to meet the particular desires, traditions or religious values of the family.
Prearrangements
Most of us attempt to prepare for the important things in life, but few of us do so regarding the inevitable. Today, for some, it has become a common practice to arrange their funerals before the inevitable happens. Pre-arrangements, cremations as well as cemetery arrangements go a long way in easing a family’s load when death occurs. We have found it also helps families in their financial planning.
Cremations
Cremation is most often fulfilled by combining it with a variety of other funeral services. When the personal choice of cremation is decided, some choose a cemetery burial while others choose to be scattered in a designated place of personal significance. While others elect to keep them in the home of a family member or friend.
Monuments
Some families choose to create their own funeral memorial, designing a unique and personalized way to remember their loved ones. Family images, sketches of a favorite hobby, and verses or poems have all been adapted into headstones and gravesite markers.
